Why Use a NACCC Accredited Child Contact Centre

A child contact centre can play a crucial role in helping families move forward following a family breakdown; providing a safe neutral place for children to stay connected and spend time with a non-resident parent and family members.

NACCC’s rigorous accreditation process ensures its accredited child contact centres provide safe and regulated services.  NACCC’s standards are overseen by an independent standards panel chaired by a retired high court judge. Courts in the UK and Cafcass (Children and Family Court Support Service) only use centres which have been accredited by NACCC.

NACCC’s contact centres are staffed by trained professionals and volunteers who can offer support and guidance to both children and parents. Staff are well placed to signpost to additional services that understand the family court process and can help families work towards finding long-term solutions which put the interests, needs and safety of the child first.

Providing a structured setting for handovers and visits, NACCC accredited contact services helps to minimise direct contact between parents, which can help to reduce conflict and tension.
